Merry Christmas

We had a great year celebrating our Savior's birth! We celebrated with our team with good food and fellowship! Playing games!
We celebrated on Christmas day with just our family. We read the Christmas story and sang Christmas carols. We are so thankful for all God has done for us. It has been a busy year and we have had some ups and downs, but we know that God is in control of it all! He sent his Son to this earth and he lived in this crazy world.  I know things don't make sense to us, but I am pretty sure that Jesus also felt like nothing made sense on earth either, but he knew the big picture! It is a great reminder that God know our big picture too! God is Good!!
Merry Christmas to you all!!

Enjoy the pictures of some of our earthly celebrations!
Our family this year! We went to our teammates home for a big dinner and then went back to our house for games and a gift exchange with our whole team and other friends here in Soroti! We had a great day!

Some of our yummy food!

Handsome Boys! Moses Sliedrecht,  Luka Shaarda and Troy!

Sweet Eliana Sliedrecht!

Some of our friends, Rachel Graham, Amy (our teacher) and Hannah!

We didn't want Daisy to feel left out with the new puppy being the center of attention so we made sure that we included both our puppies in this pick!

Kate was so excited to open her big gift! She was so patient in between opening gifts. I was so proud of her!

The boys were getting the same gift and didn't want to see what it was before it was opened so they sat back to back.

This is still keeping her entertained!

Every boy needs one of these!

This is a huge treat here! We usually can only find it in Kampala on rare occasions and Steve surprised me with it. He had found it in Soroti at a supermarket called Happy! It sure made me happy!

Steve has been told many times by our Ugandan friends that he looks very smart!

Ashley found me these cute bowls!

Pizza- A family favorite!

Pepperoni pizza! Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for bringing so much pepperoni!

Sweet Kate!

Hugging her baby!

Playing with the lego sets Grandpa and Grandma brought!
