I know I haven't posted in a while, but life has been good. We have been living a normal schedule, (until Steve got his kidney stones) schooling, visiting with friends, Bible Study. It has been good to get back into a routine.
Steve is in charge of security for our team and has been busy with rewriting and updating the manuel. He is in love with that aspect of his job. He went two weeks ago the the American Embassy was so excited when he came home. Maybe Steve will be able to write about his time in Kampala! Two things I was incredibly excited to know: 1st- Uganda is considered very safe right now. 2nd- The adoption process now only takes two years instead of three. That means Kate will officially be adopted by 2014! The rest of the things Steve was taught he will have to explain sometime.
I have been spending a lot of time with my friend Catherine. She is "married" to Joseph and they are a wonderful young couple. Catherine is a tailor and is very busy making clothes and bags. She also has spend some time with us as we make flowers for the headbands she sews. Joseph owns a printing/office supplies shop in Pamba. He comes from a family, in which, his father has three wives. His father is not very involved and is often downright mean to Joseph. We are thankful that Joseph knows who his true Father is.
