We leave in less than 2 weeks! We are getting prepared. We have started packing. We have met with the Snyder's a few times and the kids are getting excited to know what life will be like in their home. They already love them so pray for this transition for them.
We also covet your prayers for air travel. Steve and I have not flown very much and we aren't worried, but we do pray that our flights are timely and that our luggage gets all the way with us. We have only about an hour layover in both places that we stop.
We are very excited that our first night we will be staying with my brother's bosses son who lives in Kampala, Uganda. Tim and Angie have connected with him and they actually will be staying with him before their trip to Turkey for and Iteams convention. It is so great to see how God works in all the details.
We are praying for this war torn people. We pray that we will be able to learn from them and also learn what God has for us to do!
This isn't till the end of our trip, but I also want people to be in prayer for my mom. She will be picking us up from the airport and this is a little out of her comfort zone. Pray that God will ease some of her anxiety about it. I am so thankful that she is willing to pick us up, and I want it to be fun for her and not too stressful.
God has been so good to us. We pray that we are fit vessels for his service! Please join us in these prayers.

Two weeks will go by too fast! From the time we got your letter till now seems to have flown by. You know those good intentions. As you can tell by the fact that we just logged on to your blog for the first time.
